Prices include everything stated on the service page. If a job needs something not listed, we quote it before doing it — you are never billed for work you did not agree to.
A build costs $89 in total, split into two payments:
The deposit is not an extra fee — it is the first part of the $89. It exists so that intake work is not done free for people who are only curious.
You have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is made, without giving a reason. Because a website is made to your specification, one exception applies: if you ask us to begin work inside that 14-day period and we confirm that request in writing, you may still cancel afterwards but we may charge for the work completed up to that point.
To cancel, email robert@colquhoun.care with your order details — a clear statement is enough, no form required. We refund within 14 days of cancellation, to the original payment method. Nothing in this policy reduces those rights.
US federal law does not generally provide a cooling-off period for services purchased online, and we do not claim one here. What you have is the policy in 4.1, which is more generous at the point that matters — nothing is charged before you can see the site working, and a failed delivery is refunded in full.
Some states give additional cancellation or refund rights for particular kinds of contract. Those rights are unaffected by this policy. If a state law gives you a stronger right than 4.1, that law applies.
Consumer cancellation rights do not apply. The policy in 4.1 applies as a matter of contract, and the refund provisions are the exclusive remedy for cancellation.
We aim to have a build live within two working days of receiving a complete brief and the deposit. The clock starts when we have everything we need — photos, product data and any approvals. If something is outstanding, we tell you the same day rather than letting the job sit.
If a claim is made against us because content you supplied infringed someone else's rights, responsibility sits with you.
A build includes up to five pages, up to 50 products, one revision round, booking or payments through your own Stripe account, and publication. Further pages, extra revision rounds, extra products and integrations are quoted separately before any work starts.
You own your site once the balance is paid: the HTML export, the repository, the domain and the analytics. Nothing is held back.
We may show the work in a portfolio unless you ask us not to — one email is enough and it is noted on your file.
Hosting and domain registration are provided by third parties under their terms. We connect and configure them; we are not responsible for their outages. Domain renewals after the first year are yours, and we send one reminder rather than auto-billing.
Ad plans run month to month with no minimum term. You can cancel any time and the plan stops at the end of the current month — we do not refund part-months, because the work for that month has already been scheduled.
Ad spend on Meta, TikTok or Google is not included and stays in your own advertising account.
One free regeneration per ad. Every creative includes a free second attempt at no credit cost — the first draft's variance is ours, not yours. Further regenerations of the same ad cost one credit each.
All credits — bought or included in a plan — expire 60 days after they are added to your account. A top-up bought on 1 June runs to 31 July; the 30 ads included in June's plan run to the same date, not to the end of June.
Oldest credits are always used first, so a quiet month does not quietly eat the newer balance. Missing a month does not cost you the credits from it.
Your balance and its expiry date are shown on the balance itself, in the header of your account — not buried in a settings page. Inside the final fortnight it turns amber. You should never have to ask us when credits expire. If credits expire without being used, ask us — we will refund the unused balance once as a goodwill gesture.
Auto-pilot is off by default. If you switch it on, each monthly cycle we use the ad credits already in your account to produce new ads and post them on your schedule and channels. It never charges your card and never buys credits for you.
Text alerts are +$2.00 a month on any plan and include four messages a month. They are sent to the mobile number you give us, for service notices such as ads going live, a failed post, or a low credit balance. They are not a bulk messaging service.
Reply STOP at any time and messages stop immediately; we will not re-enable them without a fresh opt-in from you. Message and data rates from your carrier are yours, as with any SMS.
You are the advertiser. Any paid campaign runs inside an advertising account held in your name, with your payment method on it. We never act as advertiser of record, and we never run your spend through our own account.
What we charge for managing spend. Budget management is a fixed monthly fee of $79, shown as its own line on your invoice. We take no percentage of your media spend, no rebate, no commission and no margin on impressions. If we ever quote a different amount, it will be a named price you agree to in writing — not a slice of your budget.
The access we take. Limited to what is needed to build and publish campaigns:
Access ends when the engagement ends. We remove our own access within 5 working days of a plan ending, and you can remove it yourself at any time without notice — nothing in your account depends on us staying in it.
What we do not control. Advertising platforms set their own auction, pricing, review and account policies. We do not guarantee impressions, cost per click, cost per thousand, reach, conversions or return on ad spend. What we commit to is the work: campaigns built to the brief, published on schedule, and reported on with real numbers from your own account.
Spend is yours, and so is the risk. You set the budget and can pause or stop it at any time in your own account. We are not liable for platform decisions, rejected ads, account restrictions, or spend committed before you paused it.
We are responsible for the work we do and for delivering what is described. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us for that project. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, or any right you have that cannot be excluded by law.
We keep: your contact details, your brief and the files you send us. We use them to do the work and to contact you about it. We do not sell data or use your customers' data for anything else.
Email robert@colquhoun.care with the problem and we respond within two working days. If it is not resolved, tell us and we will agree next steps in writing.
If these terms change, the version you agreed to at the time of purchase is the one that applies to your order.
Nothing in this page is legal advice to you. It describes how we work. If you need advice about your own rights, take it independently.
